Kimberly Townsend stops by WDAM Midday | People

Kimberly Townsend stopped by WDAM Midday Wednesday to talk about the Back to School event at Gattitown.

The event will take place August 15 starting at 5:30 p.m. Ten percent of all proceeds made will go to benefit the Susan G. Komen 3-day breast cancer walk in which Townsend and her friend, Megan Priest will be walking 60 miles in Washington D.C. 

Townsend was inspired to participate in the walk when her aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2007. This will be Townsend's 5th walk. The goal for Townsend and her friend is $2,300.
