Laurel man behind bars on statutory rape charges | News
LAUREL, MS (WDAM)- Mitchell Brown, 29, turned himself at the Laurel Police Department on Thursday afternoon.
Investigators said Brown was wanted on statutory rape charges for allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl.
Brown remains in the Jones County Jail on a $75,000 bond.
He faces up to 30 years in jail.
